Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers who demonstrate Biblical knowledge and strong teaching abilities. The ideal candidate participates actively in church life, communicates effectively, and can create a caring, perceptive classroom environment consistent with LifeWise policies.

Responsibilities include completing substitute training, delivering LifeWise lessons as needed, maintaining records, and serving as an ambassador within the community.

Qualifications

• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.

• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment per LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Keep classroom clean, orderly and safe; know emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.

Job Description

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
