Job summary

EnCorps - STEM Teachers in California seeks mission-driven STEM professionals to volunteer as guest teachers. You will teach for 2 hours per week for 10 weeks, receiving support and resources as you navigate the credentialing process.

This role is perfect for those with educational or industry STEM experience who believe in the importance of equitable access to education. You'll also receive a $150 travel stipend upon completion.

Qualifications

• Eager to share STEM industry or education experience with students.
• Hold a baccalaureate degree with a GPA of 2.50 or higher.
• No current teaching credential in math or science.

Responsibilities

• Volunteer guest teach for 2 hours per week for 10 weeks.
• Receive planning and support for teacher credentialing.
• Gain access to online learning resources and workshops.
