The STEAM Generation brings science, technology, engineering, Art, and math (STEAM), to kids ages 4 to 14 in a fun and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs, and workshops. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching STEAM concepts through hands-on learning.

About Us
The STEAM Generation(TSG) is a nonprofit organization based in Mableton, Georgia that provides innovative, out-of-school time STEAM programs and outreach to Pre-K through 12th grade students. Our primary goal is to increase access to STEAM education, particularly for underrepresented communities such as low-income families, communities of color, and girls. TSG serves over 450 children per year.
Our aim is to expand our reach and impact in underserved communities in Georgia, providing students with the tools and resources they need to succeed in STEAM fields.
Role Summary
We are seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer School Outreach Coordinator to help us expand our reach across Georgia. This role is essential to connecting our programs with schools that need them most. In this role, you will support building relationships with school administrators and educators and manage workshop scheduling coordination.
Responsibilities
Along with the Director of Programs, conduct outreach to K-12 schools across Georgia, with a focus on underserved communities
Support scheduling and coordination of on-campus STEAM workshops with school contacts
Track communications and schedule details using shared project management tools
Maintain up-to-date records of contacts, schedules, and follow-up needs
