The Borgen Project is an international organization dedicated to reducing global poverty by influencing foreign policy in the U.S. and U.K. We work at the political level to improve living conditions for those affected by war, famine, and poverty, with over 20 years of advocacy experience supporting legislation that benefits nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
As a Regional Director, you will serve as a Borgen Project Ambassador in your city, mobilizing your community to contact government officials and support poverty reduction legislation. You do not need lobbying experience to make a difference in this role.
Location: U.S., U.K., and Canada
Salary: Unpaid
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 4-6 hours per week
Start Date: Flexible; new programs begin each month, and you choose your start date.
