Job summary

The Minnesota Orchestra is seeking a part-time Volunteer Services Assistant to support the Volunteer Services Manager and supervise volunteers at concerts and events. You will help with recruitment, scheduling, training, and mentoring, while upholding audience services standards and maintaining product knowledge for Orchestra Hall.

Ideal candidates will have strong English communication, customer service experience, and a background in music or the arts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Background in music and/or the arts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Volunteer Services department.
• Assist with volunteer recruitment, scheduling, trainings, recognition, reporting and events.
• Serve as Volunteer Lead for large events and assist with supervising volunteers at concerts.
• Coach and mentor volunteers and ensure excellent customer service.
