You will manage placement, records, and ongoing engagement, working closely with program and development staff to strengthen community connections and support families.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED and five or more years of experience coordinating volunteer programs or an associate degree with three years of experience.
• Experience engaging and supporting volunteers as part of program services.
• Knowledge of current trends in volunteerism and resource management.
• Demonstrated event planning and logistics coordination.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, orient, train, place, and retain volunteers and interns.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Provide ongoing communication and recognition for volunteers.
• Collaborate with HR for background checks and credentialing as needed.
• Coordinate tours, events, trainings, and appreciation activities.
