The Young CEO Launchpad is a youth-led nonprofit on a mission to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in young people. Our signature program, CreatorLaunch, is a free, all-in-one digital platform that gives teens the tools, knowledge, and hands-on experience to build their own e-commerce businesses from scratch—all with zero risk.

We are looking for a skilled and mission-driven Volunteer Platform Developer to join our foundational team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and shaping the core technology that will directly empower thousands of young creators. This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills to a project with a tangible, positive social impact.

Key Responsibilities

As a Volunteer Platform Developer, you will collaborate directly with our founding team to:

• Develop and Implement Features: Architect, code, and deploy new user-facing features for the CreatorLaunch platform, from the product design studio to the "Young CEO" dashboards.
• Enhance User Experience: Work closely with the team to translate UI/UX designs and concepts into smooth, intuitive, and responsive web components.
• Build the Backend: Develop and manage server-side logic, database interactions, and API integrations with our print-on-demand and payment partners.
• Ensure Platform Integrity: Identify and fix bugs, write tests, and improve overall platform performance and security to ensure a stable experience for our users.
• Contribute to Technical Strategy: Help shape the technical roadmap and make key decisions about the platform's architecture and future development.

What We're Looking For

• Technical Proficiency: Solid experience in web development, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Full-Stack Experience: Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development is ideal. Experience with a modern framework (like React, Vue, or Svelte) and a backend language (like Python/Django or Node.js) is a major plus.
• Problem-Solver: A proactive and creative thinker who enjoys tackling challenges and can work independently.
• Passion for the Mission: A genuine belief in youth empowerment and an excitement to contribute your skills to a charitable, educational cause.
• Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication skills and a desire to work as part of a small, agile, and passionate team.
