Volunteermatch offers a paid work-based learning opportunity for youth aged 18-24 in allied health. Volunteers will conduct mock interviews to help students gain interview experience. This virtual role requires no prior healthcare experience and provides essential support for youth career development.
My Pathway to Health is a paid work-based learning opportunity connecting youth aged 18-24 to careers in allied health. We need volunteers to interview students via Zoom in 1:1 breakout sessions. Volunteers do not need healthcare experience. For many participants, this is their first interview experience and will serve as a foundation for their future professional careers. Volunteers will be provided with instructions and materials prior to interviews.
UNITE-LA is a School-to-Career (STC) partnership that facilitates initiatives and activities across the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), and the City of Los Angeles. It creates diverse and enriching programs supporting STC, providing a seamless sequence of school- and work-based learning opportunities, and connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences.
