Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks an enthusiastic high school teacher for grades 9-12 who demonstrates deep Bible knowledge and outstanding teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring, and committed to teaching.

The role requires completing LifeWise training and certification, participating in annual summits, and maintaining relationships with students and staff to promote LifeWise's religious mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in either a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of the start date.
• Participate in the annual LifeWise Summit each year.
• Attend at least one Teachers' Lounge or one LifeWise Meet-Up per year.
• Stay up to date on training and updates by regularly checking LifeWise email.
• Teach LifeWise Classes and prepare the for-credit high school curriculum provided by LifeWise.
• Invest in connecting with students and building relationships.
