Job summary

LifeWise Secondary Education teachers will demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and outstanding teaching abilities for students in grades 6-12. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, committed and proficient in teaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training
• Complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of the start date
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization
• Maintain accurate class rosters and attendance records
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for substitutes
• Establish a classroom culture that fosters academic pursuit and spiritual growth
• Promote LifeWise’s religious mission in all duties and interactions
