Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and research-savvy volunteer to support AAFE’s fundraising strategy by identifying relevant grant opportunities and potential funders. Key Responsibilities:

1. Research & Funding Identification

• Identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities that align with AAFE’s mission
• Research institutional funders, grants databases, and philanthropic organizations
• Compile and maintain a list of suitable grant opportunities and calls for proposals
• Analyze funder guidelines to determine fit and application feasibility
• Summarize findings in clear, actionable formats for AAFE’s leadership team

Qualifications:

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written communication and organizational abilities
• Experience or interest in fundraising, grant prospecting, or non-profit work
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• A strong commitment and genuine interest in AAFE’s mission and values.

Time Commitment:

• Minimum 5–10 hours per week, depending on availability and organizational needs.
