Position Summary: The Chosen Ones, Inc. is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Volunteer Grant Writer to help secure funding that supports our mission. The Grant Writer will research potential grant opportunities, draft compelling proposals, and assist with reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission
Write, edit, and submit grant proposals and supporting documents
Collaborate with leadership to gather necessary information and materials
Track grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements
Assist with writing fundraising appeals or donor communications as needed
Qualifications:
Strong writing, editing, and research skills
Ability to craft compelling narratives tailored to different funding audiences
Highly organized with attention to detail
Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising or grant writing (preferred but not required)
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Passionate about community service, family support, and youth empowerment
Time Commitment: Approximately 5-10 hours per month (flexible based on grant cycles)
