Cornell University invites applications for the Associate Director of Volunteer Giving to join the Annual and Leadership Giving team in Alumni Affairs and Development, based in Ithaca, NY. • Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience in university annual giving programs or similar non-profit fundraising.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; attention to detail.
• Commitment to AAD’s mission and fostering alumni engagement to maximize philanthropic support for the university.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and program areas.

• Recruit, train, and engage volunteers for peer-to-peer fundraising; support Alumni Affairs colleagues with class- and reunion-based giving initiatives.
• Partner with volunteer leaders to advance fundraising goals and strengthen donor engagement.
• Coordinate Cornell Fund Leadership Committee activities, including volunteer recruitment, goal setting, and solicitation efforts.
• Collaborate on annual messaging and marketing strategies for volunteer-led fundraising campaigns and communications.
• Analyze volunteer fundraising performance, maintain data integrity, and provide reporting to inform strategy and decision-making.
