Bethany Christian Services USA LLC is seeking a Safe Families for Children Coordinator in York, PA. You will connect families with friendship, coaching, resources, and short-term care through volunteer Host Families, while partnering with churches and faith communities.

The role emphasizes recruitment, training, and ongoing engagement of volunteers, with a focus on maintaining strong relationships with host families, family coaches, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Child Development, or related field.
• Prior experience with at-risk children and families.
• Experience working with faith communities or volunteers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage churches at participating, lead, and community levels.
• Recruit, train, and coach church ministry leads and volunteers.
• Coach ministry leads to grow Church engagement and volunteer recruitment.
• Oversee growth of SFFC Church networks to engage existing and new volunteers.
• Conduct training for volunteers and provide resources and coaching.
