The ideal candidate will maintain classroom safety and organization, adhere to LifeWise policies, and act as an ambassador within the local community, coordinating with teachers and volunteers to ensure seamless class sessions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Active participation in a local church with aligned beliefs.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Keep the classroom clean, attractive and well-ordered; know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador and communicate plans with volunteers and the teacher.
