Job summary

HJD Capital Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced CDL driver to operate a volumetric concrete truck in the San Antonio area. The role emphasizes safety, customer focus, and maintaining clean equipment to deliver fresh concrete with precision.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of volumetric truck experience, a valid Class A CDL, and a current DOT medical card, with ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating volumetric concrete trucks.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CDL volumetric concrete truck to and from job sites.
• Produce and adjust concrete mixes to meet customer specifications.
• Load cement, sand, rock, and admixtures as needed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep the truck clean and in good working condition.
• Complete delivery tickets and required paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers throughout the day.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
• Report mechanical issues or equipment concerns immediately; assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck and plant area when needed.

Job Summary

Capcrete is looking for an experienced CDL driver to operate a volumetric concrete truck. Unlike a traditional mixer truck, a volumetric truck mixes concrete on-site, allowing customers to receive fresh concrete with the exact mix they need. This position requires someone who is safety-minded, customer-focused, and takes pride in maintaining clean equipment.
