Job summary

HJD Capital in San Antonio is seeking an experienced CDL driver to operate a volumetric concrete truck at customer sites. This on-site role requires safety-minded individuals who can manage fresh concrete mixes, keep equipment clean, and communicate clearly with dispatch.

Responsibilities include loading cement, sand, and aggregates, performing daily pre-trip inspections, delivering paperwork, and complying with DOT/OSHA safety rules while maintaining a professional, dependable attitude.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating volumetric concrete trucks.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Produce and adjust concrete mixes to meet customer specifications.

JOB SUMMARY:

Capcrete is looking for an experienced CDL driver to operate a volumetric concrete truck. Unlike a traditional mixer truck, a volumetric truck mixes concrete on-site, allowing customers to receive fresh concrete with the exact mix they need. This position requires someone who is safety-minded, customer-focused, and takes pride in maintaining clean equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate a Class A CDL volumetric concrete truck to and from job sites.
• Produce and adjust concrete mixes to meet customer specifications.
• Load cement, sand, rock, and admixtures as needed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep the truck clean and in good working condition.
• Complete delivery tickets and required paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers throughout the day.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
• Report mechanical issues or equipment concerns immediately.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck and plant area when needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating volumetric concrete trucks.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and positive attitude.
