Mid-Pacific Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii, invites applications for the Head Coach - Volleyball. This temporary, seasonal role focuses on developing student-athletes across middle and high school, organizing practice schedules, recruiting and mentoring staff, and supervising program operations through the CSAL season.

Responsibilities include leading instruction, safety, compliance with ILH/HHSAA rules, and coordinating with the Athletic Department to keep a competitive program.

Formación

• Must hold or be willing to obtain valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Preferred: Proven experience as a successful and motivating head coach with excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop student-athletes through safe and effective drills, skills, strategies, and lesson planning.
• Motivate and support student-athletes using positive reinforcement.
• Provide off-season training opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
• Track daily attendance and communicate with student-athletes and parents regarding absences.
• Monitor athlete eligibility per Mid-Pacific, ILH, and HHSAA regulations.
• Maintain and secure all equipment; report any broken or unsafe items to the Athletic Department.
• Assist with issuing and returning team uniforms and equipment.
• Monitor academic performance to support student success.
• Communicate team equipment and supply needs to the Athletic Department.
