Job summary

Hesston College invites applications for a Volleyball Assistant Coach. The successful candidate will work individually with players to develop skills and assist the head coach in all aspects of the program.

The role supports athlete recruitment, helps with court and equipment maintenance, transportation, and health and safety of team members. As the roster grows, the assistant may serve as the head JV coach; position is flexible with 0.75 FTE or stipend basis depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop individual player skills and support player development.
• Assist head coach in all aspects of the volleyball program.
• Assist with athlete recruitment.
• Help with court and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with transportation and health and safety of team members.
