Job summary

Mossy Auto Group is seeking experienced Volkswagen Service Technicians for a fast-paced, high-volume shop. The position involves inspecting, servicing, and preparing new and used vehicles to factory and dealership standards, with a focus on timely customer satisfaction.

Compensation includes base hourly pay with flag rate between $34 and $45 per hour, plus a productivity bonus up to $56 per hour based on performance. Excellent benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications ideal.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Strong teamwork skills preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Must have clean and valid CA driver’s license.
• OEM certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles to communicate with service and sales staff.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty per manufacturer specifications.

The Service Technician inspects, services, & prepares new & used vehicles according to factory & dealership standards, policies & specifications. The Volkswagen Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation of between $34.00 and $45.00, plus a productivity bonus equivalent up to a maximum hourly rate of $56.00 per hour based on individual performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Complying with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs

Qualifications
