Outlier - Voice Recording Opportunity

Outlier helps the world’s most innovative companies improve their AI models through human feedback. We are seeking individuals to assist researchers in training the next generation of audio machine-learning models. Our research focuses on enhancing AI understanding of human speech and making interactions more friendly and compassionate.

Requirements:

• Native fluency in English (North American Accent)
• Ability to express a wide range of emotions through voice
• Quiet recording environment without background noise
• Access to an at-home recording studio
• Experience with voice-related work (voiceover acting, podcasting, audio narration)
• High-fidelity microphone for recordings

Nice to Haves:

• Background in acting, classical voice training, or vocal music
• Access to an audio interface device

Responsibilities:

1. Record short conversations conveying different emotions, accents, and modulations
2. Review and provide feedback on recordings from others
3. Review and edit scripts
4. Ensure high-quality audio, maintaining clarity and professionalism
5. Save files in Audacity and organize recordings systematically
