Job summary

One Music Schools' Champaign School of Music is hiring a voice and piano teacher to join a team of musicians dedicated to sharing their gifts. You will teach 30‑minute private lessons, assess student levels, and craft lesson plans in a supportive studio environment.

Qualifications

• Must connect with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Ability to demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skills during interview.
• Open to first-time teachers and experienced teachers alike.
• Commitment of at least 1 year to teaching with us.
• Wamiliar with teaching across piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, violin, cello, drums, etc.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students for 30 minute private lessons.
• Assess new student abilities and create lesson plans.
• Prepare students for recitals and performances.
• Facilitate student participation in recitals and events.
• Help students reach learning goals and track progress.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress.
