Jacobs is seeking a Voice Data Security Engineer to design and deliver electrical and communications systems for world-class facilities across multiple US locations. You will use AutoCAD and Revit to develop 2D/3D layouts, ensuring coordination with design leads and other disciplines.

The role requires strong familiarity with industry standards, and hands-on experience in security/communications system design, with a hybrid work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or an equivalent Engineering Degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing Communications/Security Systems.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BISCI standards.
• Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with CSI Divisions 27 & 28.
• 5 years’ AutoCAD design experience.
• 1 year of Revit Design Experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for client facilities.
• Create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Deliver complex packages in coordination with designers and design leads as part of the delivery team.

We're looking for a Voice Data Security Engineer in Conshohocken, PA/Cincinnati, OH/Indianapolis, IN/Cary, NC/Texas or Virginia area who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, you’ll create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files. Our engineers are responsible for delivery of complex packages in coordination with designers and design leads and form the core of our delivery team.

Here’s what you’ll need

• BS in Electrical Engineer, Communications Engineering or any equivalent Engineering Degree
• Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing Communications/Security Systems
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BISCI standards
• Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements is highly preferred
• Familiarity with CSI Divisions 27 & 28
• 5 years’ AutoCAD design experience
• 1 year of Revit Design Experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

• BISCI RCDD Certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and customers

The base salary range for this position is $113,100.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
