Jacobs is seeking a Voice Data Security Engineer to design and draft electrical power distribution and communications systems for flagship facilities across multiple U.S. locations. You will leverage AutoCAD and Revit to create 2D/3D models, coordinate with design leads, and deliver complex packages for sensitive client projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration, multi-discipline coordination, and professional growth within a hybrid working model that blends office and remote work.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or any equivalent Engineering Degree.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing Communications/Security Systems.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BISCI standards.
• Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with CSI Divisions 27 & 28.
• 5 years’ AutoCAD design experience.
• 1 year of Revit Design Experience.

We're looking for a Voice Data Security Engineer in Conshohocken, PA/Cincinnati, OH/Indianapolis, IN/Cary, NC/Texas or Virginia area who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. You’ll thrive as you perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our client’s advanced facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, you’ll create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files. Our engineers are responsible for delivery of complex packages in coordination with designers and design leads and form the core of our delivery team.

Here’s what you’ll need

• BS in Electrical Engineer, Communications Engineering or any equivalent Engineering Degree
• Minimum 5 years’ experience actively designing Communications/Security Systems
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BISCI standards
• Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements is highly preferred
• Familiarity with CSI Divisions 27 & 28
• 5 years’ AutoCAD design experience
• 1 year of Revit Design Experience

Ideally, you’ll also have

• BISCI RCDD Certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and customers

The base salary range for this position is $113,100.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
