Job summary

Omilia is hiring an AI Developer / Software Engineer to evolve the Drive-Thru Voice AI for Quick Serve Restaurants. You’ll work across engineering, AI/LLM development, and conversation analysis on a live system used at scale in thousands of restaurants.

You’ll prototype AI features, fine-tune LLMs for voice ordering, and collaborate with customers to gather requirements and implement robust application logic that meets their needs.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Software Developer or AI Engineer.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication skills; customer-facing.
• Ambition, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn with attention to detail.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build features, fix bugs, test and deploy releases for the Drive-Thru Voice AI solution.
• Integrate with client systems as required for assigned work.
• Prototype AI features and fine-tune LLMs for voice ordering; production ready.
• Review real dialogs to improve accuracy and user experience.
• Gather business requirements and implement application logic with customers.
• Shift effort across engineering, AI/LLM, analysis, and customer work as needed.
• Communicate clearly in English in technical and customer-facing contexts; meet deadlines.
