Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking a Vocational Specialist to lead the vocational training program in alignment with Spectrum practices and Department of Labor requirements. You will drive student success by managing individualized training plans, delivering job coaching, and building strong community-based partnerships.

You will collaborate with teachers and coordinators to implement on-campus and community-based work experiences, ensuring progress toward IEP goals and successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field preferred.
• Strong ability to build relationships with students, parents, teachers and community partners.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Experience with vocational education, job coaching and workplace readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the vocational training program in alignment with Spectrum practices and DoL requirements.
• Deliver job coaching and career counseling aligned to IEP goals and student career plans.
• Develop and maintain community-based partnerships and job sites for real-world learning.
• Coordinate and expand on-campus vocational training opportunities and student work experiences.
• Ensure compliance with WAI, DoL regulations and monitor program quality and safety.
• Provide payroll support for WAI program and training on payroll procedures to staff and students.
• Collect and analyze program participation and outcome data for reporting.
