Job summary

The Guild for Human Services in Concord, MA seeks a seasoned leader to oversee vocational rehabilitation and employment services. You will guide a team to connect job seekers with meaningful work and durable career paths, while building community partnerships and managing essential resources.

You will lead program operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance, and drive job development efforts with local employers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, rehabilitation counseling, business administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in vocational rehabilitation or employment services.
• Proven track record of managing staff, budgets, and program compliance.
• Expert knowledge of vocational rehabilitation principles and job development strategies.
• Strong leadership to supervise, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Effective communication to build partnerships with community employers and stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate complex case management systems with accuracy and empathy.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Education

• Holds a bachelor's degree in social work, rehabilitation counseling, business administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Brings at least three years of experience in vocational rehabilitation or employment services.
• Demonstrates a proven track record of successfully managing staff, budgets, and program compliance.

Knowledge/Skills

• Possesses expert knowledge of vocational rehabilitation principles and job development strategies.
• Applies strong leadership skills to supervise, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Communicates effectively to build partnerships with community employers and stakeholders.
• Navigates complex case management systems with accuracy and empathy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possesses a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential.

Requirements

• 2-5 years supervisory experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field with a vocational or rehab certification required
• At least 5 years working in special education field preferred
• Five (5) years of experience providing services to children/adolescents who have mental health diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities
• Demonstrated supervisory and administrative skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to attend to numerous details and understand multiple regulatory standards
• Must meet Massachusetts background check requirements.
• Reliable transportation to The Guild School in Concord, MA as well as to multiple Guild residences in Massachusetts
• A valid driver's license and responsible driving record for transporting students, as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and other electronic tools.
