Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Vocational Program Manager to develop, implement and coordinate vocational and transition services for Bradley Schools in Providence.

The role collaborates with school teams, adult services agencies and community partners, supervises staff, and builds data-driven systems to expand opportunities while ensuring transportation responsibilities with BUH vehicles. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, special education or related human service field is required.
• Prefer candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with adolescents/adults in vocational and transition programming.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and expansion of transition services across Bradley Schools.
• Work closely with adult services agencies to expand options for transition age students.
• Establish and maintain relationships with businesses and community partners for vocational opportunities.
• Provide supervision and training to staff working with transition age students.
• Develop systems to build and maintain vocational programming with a data-driven process and procedure.
• Meet and maintain status as a driver to drive BUH vehicles and transport students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
