Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Vocational Program Manager to lead the development, implementation and coordination of vocational and transition services for Bradley Schools in the Providence area. Under supervision of the Clinical Director, you will collaborate with school teams to expand options and build partnerships with community and adult services agencies.

You will supervise staff, implement data-driven systems, and ensure transportation duties as BUH driver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, special education or related human service field is required.
• Prefer candidates with at least 3 years of experience working with adolescents/adults in vocational and transition programming.

Responsibilities

• Vocational services expansion: Coordinate the development and expansion of transition services across all Bradley Schools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with adult services agencies to expand options for transition age students.
• Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with businesses and community partners for vocational opportunities.
• Staff support and training: Provide supervision and training to staff working with transition age students.
• Systems and data: Develop systems necessary to build and maintain successful vocational programming incorporating a data driven process and procedure.
• The Vocational Program Manager must meet and maintain status as a driver to drive BUH vehicles and transport students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Bradley School PVD Clinical Director, and in collaboration with the school teams, the Vocational Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing coordination of vocational and transition services.
