Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in one of the core behavioral health disciplines or related field is required.
• 2-3 years of relevant job experience may substitute for the degree.
• Ability to understand vocational test data and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of vocational services and the Criminal Justice system.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable for Agency liability insurance.
• Maintain records and complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Must complete 40 hours of job-related training per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with employers and public agencies to identify job openings and secure opportunities.
• Evaluate client backgrounds, skills, and interests and match openings or training with clients.
• Coach clients for interviews and workforce entry, sharing information about employers and roles.
• Consult with clients and employers after interviews to gather feedback and improve placements.
• Increase community contacts through active participation in associations.
• Review local media to identify new employers entering the area.
• Create portfolios of jobs aligned to each client’s profile and distribute to Case Manager.
• Provide information on vocational training programs and support long-term employment goals.
• Record weekly itineraries, daily notes, and weekly progress reports; verify attendance to Case Manager.
• Oversee weekly timesheets for payroll and provide program support as needed.
