Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts seeks an experienced LVN or RN Didactic/Clinical Instructor for the Vocational Nursing Program at our Fresno campus. This full-time role requires teaching and coordinating didactic and clinical sessions, aligning with program standards and BVNPT requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN or LVN license, a Bachelor's degree, and teaching credentials or relevant coursework, with at least three years of recent nursing experience.

Qualifications

• BVNPT requires a Bachelor's degree for LVN and RN faculty.
• Current California RN or LVN license.
• Bachelor's degree from an approved school; teaching credential or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience in the last five years.
• Ability to teach didactic and clinical courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and clinical sessions for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Coordinate with faculty to discuss program development and standards.
• Be available for on-campus faculty meetings and advisory board activities.
• Support program leadership in organizing and implementing curriculum standards.
• Maintain knowledge of medical education requirements and ensure facilities meet CME requirements.
