Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts Fresno is seeking an experienced LVN or RN Clinical Instructor for our Vocational Nursing Program on the Fresno, CA Campus. This part-time position offers AM or PM shifts, with hourly pay of $35–$45, and involves teaching in both didactic and clinical settings.

Key duties include teaching assigned classes, coordinating with didactic and clinical faculty, supporting the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator, and maintaining knowledge of medical education

Qualifications

• BVNPT requires Bachelor’s degree for LVN and RN for faculty candidates.
• Instructor shall have or be currently attending a course offered by an approved school in teaching.
• Must meet requirements of either A or B for RN or LVN faculty candidates.
• Minimum of three years experience as RN or LVN within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in didactic or clinical settings for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in organizing the program and implementing standards.
• Maintain knowledge of medical education and ensure facilities meet CME requirements.
