Job summary

Qualifications

High School diploma, GED certification, or equivalent.
Five years of full-time wage-earning experience in the trade or career readiness skills within the last eight years.
Must possess current trade certification or be eligible for provisional licensure per Tennessee DOE requirements.
Ability to give clear instructions in the trade or vocational area.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Valid driver's license.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Prepare course objectives following curriculum standards and contract requirements.
Plan and document a program of study that meets students' needs and abilities.
Provide instruction using handouts, texts, audiovisuals and other materials.
Evaluate students' performance and issue progress reports as required.
Assist students with additional instruction as needed.
