Qualifications

• Two years of full-time or equivalent experience in disability claims adjudication or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or higher may substitute for required work experience as per substitutions section.

Responsibilities

• Analyze findings of fact across medical, psychiatric, vocational and educational data to determine eligibility.
• Review adjudicated cases for reopening considerations.
• Affirm or reverse decisions and determine benefit continuation or cessation with referrals when needed.
• Confer with medical consultants to obtain additional information and resolve conflicting evidence.
• Communicate with applicants, physicians, hospitals and employers to verify or obtain information.
