Job summary

Penn State Abington is seeking a part-time instructor to teach individual vocal lessons starting August 2026. This is a one-semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of renewal.

The successful candidate will teach up to two sections of VOICE 100, 30-minute weekly sessions, and will help students prepare for campus recitals. Depending on expertise, there may be opportunities to teach instrumental lessons as well.

Qualifications

• Master's degree strongly preferred; equivalent professional experience or training considered.
• Experience teaching at the college level is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to two sections of VOICE 100, one-half hour per week per section.
• Prepare students for campus recital each semester.
• Additional opportunities to teach instrumental lessons may be available.
