We offer private lessons, group classes, music-based team-building events, and more. We’re seeking experienced, passionate voice teachers who value music as fun, connection, and personal wellness—and who want to teach without the burden of running their own business.

Why teach at MP

  • One beautiful, central studio: No unpaid travel. Teach in an inspiring Downtown Crossing space with top-tier instruments, tech, espresso, and snacks.
  • Consistent students & strong systems: Marketing + ops help high-performing teachers fill schedules any time of year. Training provided to convert new students.
  • Aligned, motivated learners: Adult hobbyists who choose to be here—for fun, connection, and personal growth.
  • Ongoing training & growth: Paid onboarding and continued professional development for more ease, impact, and confidence.
  • Transportation covered (MBTA): Teach 4+ days (20+ hours/week) and receive MBTA reimbursement (up to $90/month).
Who we’re looking for
  • Music degree (or graduating within 6 months).
  • 2+ years of teaching in private & group settings.
  • Loves working with adult hobbyists.
  • Confident singing across a range of contemporary genres.
  • Sees music as fun, connection, and personal wellness.
  • Wants to be part of a professional, inspiring team.
  • Comfort accompanying students on piano.
  • Music arranging and/or production experience.
  • Background in vocal pedagogy or music education.
  • Plays multiple instruments.
  • Experience performing or leading bands.
  • Strong customer service or client communication.
What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with new-client scheduling and communication.
  • Help with special events and music-based team-building experiences.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and ongoing training.
  • Assist with social media content or community engagement (optional).
Schedule & commitment
  • Minimum: 2 days/week, 12+ peak hours
  • Peak times: Mon–Thu 3–9pm, Fri 3–7pm, Sat/Sun 9–5pm.
  • Weekly team meeting: Wednesdays 1–2pm (virtual).
  • Light but responsive communication: Check Slack & email daily (responsiveness is essential).
  • Periodic client events: Fridays or Sundays with 1+ month notice.
  • Minimum 1-year commitment: Growth opportunities over time.

  • Who you are, why MP, and why you’re a great fit.
  • Two recent performance videos (within 3 years): showcase your vocal ability.
