Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance verification and prior authorization experience, preferably in orthotics or prosthetics.
• Experience with HIPAA regulations and Medicare.
• Ability to communicate changes in insurance requirements to management.

Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verifications and authorizations for devices.
• Collaborate with team members on insurance coverage requirements.
• Communicate benefits to patients and collect co-insurance when possible.
• Process authorization requests via phone or online portals.
• Create and manage patient account profiles in the Medical Record system.
