Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a VMI Specialist to join our team in Hollywood (Fort Lauderdale), FL. You will manage onsite contracted customer VMI agreements, optimize inventory, and contribute to profitability while collaborating with Sales and customers.

You will train new hires, support quotes, and utilize CRM tools to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This role follows standard business hours in a warehouse/office setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management, procurement, or customer service experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High School or GED - Required
• Associate’s Degree - Preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel/Access knowledge

Responsibilities

• Establish and foster relationships with the sales department and customers to understand sales potential and needs
• Execute vendor managed inventory (VMI) agreement requirements to maximize profitability
• Monitor inventory usage and place re-orders per defined points
• Train new hires on VMI processes and data analysis
• Conduct customer onsite assessments and other on-site services as needed
• Identify and resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction and profit
• Assist with VMI proposals and quotes
• Utilize CRM tools to support quotations and orders
