Job summary

Royal Brass and Hose is seeking a delivery driver to service customers in a scheduled route, stock product in cabinets, and take stocking orders to keep customer inventories at established levels. You will gain product knowledge, maintain relationships with customer personnel, and support after-hours needs as part of a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include ensuring the delivery vehicle remains reliable, attending training, and coordinating with account managers on opportunities or issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Effective listening and communication skills required.
• High level of motivation, integrity, and mechanical aptitude.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel and occasional overnights (dependent on territory).
• Experience in hose or fluid power industry is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen, physical, and background/MVR.
• Not restricted by a non-compete or non-solicitation agreement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product to customers and stock it in designated cabinets, shelves, etc.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support as scheduled.
• Take stocking orders and replenish customer inventory to desired levels.
• Keep stocked areas clean, organized, and labels readable.
• Explain product features and benefits and understand customer applications.
• Maintain good rapport with customer personnel responsible for VMI.
• Ensure vehicle is kept in safe running order and follow maintenance schedule.
• Attend product training sessions to improve product knowledge for customers.
• Communicate opportunities or issues to account managers promptly.
• Assist office staff with paperwork or proof of deliveries affecting accounts receivable.
• Assist with inventory setups or reorganization as needed.
• Use RBH tools to improve customer service and sales.
• Learn RBH part numbers to send stocking orders.
• Occasionally work inside during year-end inventory.
