Job summary

Scioto Downs is seeking a skilled VLT technician to repair and rebuild slot machines, signs, and monitoring equipment. You will perform setup, routine maintenance, and repairs while logging activities and ensuring asset security across the casino floor.

The ideal candidate has strong electronics knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and comfortable working in a fast-paced gaming environment. On-site role with potential for varied shifts and travel within property.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of electronics and computer systems.
Excellent troubleshooting for slot equipment, cages, computer and networks.
Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, with travel to various locations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair VLT machines and related equipment.
Set up and checkout of new VLT machines; ensure proper working condition.
Perform floor repair and preventative maintenance on VLT machines; clean and overhaul as needed.
Maintain asset security and complete repair logs and forms accurately.
Collaborate with Technical Shift Managers and Supervisors to keep machines in working order.
Assist patrons with club membership information and benefits; support other staff as needed.
