Job summary

Wipro Limited in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an SQE Failure Analysis FA Lab Tech to coordinate and maintain the FA lab, tools, and safety protocols. You will ensure materials are stocked, facilities run efficiently, and records are kept up to date.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, tool calibration, inventory control, and safety training. 1–3 years in a semiconductor or electronics lab is preferred, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a semiconductor or electronics lab environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with failure analysis tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications for inventory management, documentation and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Lab Facilities and Equipment Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness and functionality of the FA lab and associated workspaces; coordinate repairs, improvements and safety inspections; refill Liquid Nitrogen Dewars; manage sample receiving/outgoing; LMS management.
• Tool Coordination: Manage scheduling, calibration and maintenance of FA tools and equipment including microscopes, probing stations, physical and chemical analysis tools; coordinate vendor support.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of consumables, chemicals and materials; monitor stock levels and reorder supplies.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and hazardous material handling procedures; conduct safety inspections.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of maintenance, calibration, user certification and inventory; generate operational reports.
• Training and Support: Provide guidance on safety protocols, lab policies and basic technical support.
