Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino is seeking a qualified engineer to support and develop in-house CAD flows related to Analog and Mixed-signal simulation. You will tackle transistor-level SPICE issues on Analog, RF and millimeter-wave designs using command-line tools and Virtuoso.

You will collaborate with designers and CAD tool vendors to debug, automate flows, test tool accuracy, and implement custom scripts; base pay ranges from $150,400 to $225,300 per year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with CMOS analog SPICE simulations for EE.
• Automating SPICE-level circuit simulations through scripting.
• Developing CAD flows for Analog/RF circuit design and automation.
• Supporting EDA tools from third-party vendors.
• Scripting with SKILL, Perl, Python or TCL.

Responsibilities

• Use CMOS Analog SPICE tools for circuit simulation.
• Automate SPICE-level simulations with scripting.
• Develop and support CAD flows for Analog/RF designs.
• Support and debug EDA tools from third-party vendors.
• Write custom scripts to extend vendor tools.
