Job summary

APPLE INC in Cupertino, California seeks a Senior CAD/EDA Engineer to support and develop in-house CAD flows for Analog and Mixed-signal SPICE simulations. You will help designers resolve tool issues, automate workflows, and test vendor tools in a fast-paced design environment.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in EE or related field and hands-on scripting with SKILL, Python or TCL to drive tool improvements and efficiency across Analog/RF design flows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with CMOS analog circuit SPICE simulation tools for Electrical Engineering.
• Automating and developing software scripting solutions for SPICE level circuit simulation.
• Developing/supporting CAD flows for Analog/RF cellular circuit design and its automation.
• Supporting EDA simulation environment tools from third party vendors.
• Scripting using SKILL language, Perl, Python or TCL scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support CAD flows for Analog/RF circuit design and automation.
• Automate SPICE simulations and debug tool issues to improve performance.
• Write custom scripts around vendor tools to add on functionalities for designers.
• Test and verify vendor tool accuracy and work with CAD tool vendors to resolve bugs.
