Job summary

MSD’s Future Talent Program in Vivarium offers a 10–12 week internship at our West Point, PA site, starting May 2027. You will gain exposure to laboratory animals, in‑vivo projects and cross‑functional teams while contributing to ongoing drug discovery efforts.

Applicants should be enrolled in a veterinary or related science program (AS/BS/MS) and may have ALAT certification or in‑vivo experience. This apprenticeship supports professional growth within a global pharmaceutical leader.

Qualifications

• Candidates should currently be enrolled in an accredited Veterinary Medical program or in pursuit of a AS/BS/MS in: Animal Science, Biology, Pharmacology or relevant discipline
• Must be available for 10-12 weeks beginning May 2027
• ALAT certification and in‑vivo laboratory/husbandry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical cases and monitoring of infectious diseases
• Coordinate husbandry and aspects of personnel management in vivarium
• Collaborate on in vivo drug discovery and development projects

Education
