Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Vivarium Cage Wash Technician to support scientific research by cleaning and maintaining animal cages and related equipment in a GMP/GDP regulated vivarium.

Responsibilities include cage processing, operation of cage wash equipment, documentation, and collaboration with researchers and facility staff. A high school diploma and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to work in a highly regulated environment and follow SOPs.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Proficient with basic math and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and prepare animal cages and accessories.
• Operate cage wash equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Perform GMP-compliant sanitization of vivarium spaces.
• Complete accurate documentation per GDP/GMP.
• Provide professional customer service and team support.
