Job summary
UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR) invites applications for a UC Cooperative Extension Viticulture Advisor serving San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and southern Sacramento Counties. The advisor will implement an innovative extension education and applied research program to address high-priority issues in wine grape production, including pest and water management.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in viticulture, horticulture, crop science, soil science, pest management, or closely related field.
- Experience in applied agricultural research and extension.
- Knowledge of crop production, soil, water, fertility, and pest management.
- Willingness to travel within the region and statewide as needed.
Responsibilities
- Support grape growers with viticultural practices, pest and water management, and new technologies.
- Engage in outreach, field demonstrations, workshops, and short courses.
- Collaborate with growers, industry, and crop consultants to extend knowledge.
- Travel to counties in the coverage area and conduct fieldwork.
