Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Representative to educate physicians and healthcare leaders about the value of hospice care. You’ll build trusted relationships, guide referrals, and champion Medicare hospice benefits while coordinating with clinical partners to ensure timely, appropriate patient care.

Based in a local VITAS office, you’ll work across your territory, visiting physicians’ offices, hospitals, and care facilities to grow partnerships and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sales experience or healthcare services preferred.
• Participated in a competitive team environment with individual accountability and teamwork.
• Able to demonstrate examples of critical thinking and created solutions.
• Past military service a plus.
• Experience with volunteer organization a plus.
• Hospice experience preferred but not required.
• Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market or a track record of exceeding corporate goals.
• Strong customer service, sense of urgency and problem solving skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of a needs-satisfaction selling process.
• Ability to manage a territory, conduct sales calls and build long-term business partnerships.
• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization.

What You’ll Do

As a VITAS Representative, you’ll be at the front line of change—educating physicians, healthcare leaders & professionals about the value of hospice care. You’ll:

EDUCATION
