Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

• Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient’s height and weight at each visit.
• Record patient vital signs including pulse, temperature, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Escort patient to room and verify medication list with each Advanced Practice Providers visit.
• Ensure patient rooms are clean, sanitized, and prepared for next appointment.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations.

This person will have direct patient contact, including some patients who are very ill.Physical requirementsThis position requires that the employee be able to stand for long periods of time, up to eight hours a day. This position also requires that the employee be able to lift and assist patients as needed.
