Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the physical therapist.
• Identifies indications for evaluations and assists in the evaluation under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Assists the physical therapist in establishing target list, goals and treatment plan.
• Conducts individual treatment including strength, mobility, gait, range of motion and modalities.
• Adheres to department procedures and documentation standards.
• Maintains patient care ratios and participates in education for patient, family and staff.
