GPD is currently seeking a Visualization Designer/Illustrator for our Akron, OH office location to collaborate with our creative team of designers and architects on various conceptual design projects.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Illustration, Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design or related field.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling environments and scene building.
• Experience with rendering, lighting and animation software required; proficiency in coding and programming is a plus.
• Background in creating computer modeled interior and exterior built environments, including lighting and asset generation.
• Skillset should include both conceptual and photo-realistic rendering development and animation.
• Demonstrated experience creating complex shapes and texture mapping.
• Virtual and Augmented Reality programming and modeling is a plus.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and translate design direction and intent.
• Understanding of topography contours, landscaping and hardscapes modeling.
• Knowledge of Photo Compositing and Presentation Methods.
• Must be organized with good communication and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of Sketchup, AutoCAD and Revit.

Required Software Knowledge:

Responsibilities will include:

• Working as part of our Design Studio to provide architectural, interiors, site, and other building industry related photorealistic renderings and illustrations or animations.
• Building, texturing, and lighting 3D scenes for rendered stills and animation.
• Using Photoshop for compositing renderings and color corrections.
• Creating presentation graphics for meetings and client review.
• Assisting in the creation of marketing materials and presentations.
• Programming within software programs to aid in animations and design options.
